explaining the photographic techniques that our photographers use
when in the field taking pictures for our real estate clients.
If you are local to
our Southern Massachusetts headquarters we offer the service of
taking your pictures for you. Space is provided in the
information form on the main real estate page to let us know how you
will be providing photographs to us.
Follow This
Guide To Get The Perfect Photograph of Your Listing
Digital Camera
(Preferred):
-
Minimum 4 megapixel camera set at
the highest resolution the camera is capable of.

Shoot in either JPEG or TIFF
format. Please shoot in color.

This will create a fairly large
file, but is necessary to create a high quality
rendering.

Photography Tips:
Use the photograph below
as a reference to this guide:
-
Take your picture on a cloudy day
(or when the sun is behind a cloud to eliminate
shadows.)

Make sure all windows and doors
are closed (if possible.)

Don't worry about air
conditioners (right upper window), power lines, etc. We
take them out.

If you can remove unwanted
items (trash barrels, cars, etc.) that would be
helpful
-
Choose a pleasing angle such as
the one in the photo to best capture the character of your
listing.

Make sure to leave a fair amount
of the landscape to the left and right of the house to give us
room to add the feathered edges to the
rendering.
